Mass production status and shipping plan

Hey GoDuo backers!
We know you are excited about the coming shipping as we are! We pushed this update to today, just to make sure we give you the accurate update based on latest mass production status. The first few days of mass production for any new product is always slow. Even though, we don't want to push the output in return of compromising product quality. However, we are glad to see great progress in production rate under our consistent quality control, and expect the whole Kickstarter quantity to complete soon.
Meanwhile, since we start having finished products, we start shipping. The shipping list is based on completion of survey because we have a 48-hour window for confirming shipping information. Tomorrow, we will start updating shipping and tracking information. For some countries/regions, tracking numbers might not be available until after shipping for 24 hours based on carriers.
For such wireless products, FCC certification is required for importing to USA and CE for Europe. The lead time of these certifications is 4-6 weeks. We applied for these two certifications right after our campaign finished. Today, the update we received from certification center is, our products passed testing and our application is under final approval; we should expect them any time. So our US and European backers - please stay tuned for just a little bit.
Last but not least, we have not heard back from 10% of our backers on the survey, even after several times' emailing and messaging. Please check your junk mail or spam folder if you are still waiting on your survey. If you lost access to your email or haven't received your survey at all, please send message to us. Otherwise you will miss shipping of this round. For the backers who have payment issue with Kickstarter or with Stripe, please update your credit card info while completing survey, so you will still be able to receive your rewards.

Hey GoDuo backers!
Since last update, almost 90% backers answered the surveys we sent to them. Since we are close to shipping, we will lock down your order tomorrow. You have 24 hours to make any change to your survey, and won’t be able to adjust after that.
If you have not received your survey invitation yet, please double check your email. The invitations were sent to the email address of your Kickstarter account. If you don’t see it in your Inbox, please double check your Junk Email folder or Spam Folder. It might be sorted there by your email server. We sent survey invitations to all backers except the $0 reward level. If you did not pledge the $0 reward, you should have received your invitation letter.
From our dashboard, it shows 12 backers have invalid email addresses, which means either your mailbox stops receiving new emails or it bounced back our invitation for some reason. We will keep contacting you, while if you have not yet received your invitation, send us a message on Kickstarter and our team will help you out.
If you are changing addresses, please provide the address where you are definitely able to receive the package in August. Once the package is shipped, we will not be able to change destination. So, please provide the safest address.
If you are not able to complete your survey now, please try to finish it by this weekend – so your order will still be processed with our first production inventory. Otherwise, it might be delayed to our 2nd round shipping which is in a month.

Dear GoDuo backers,
We sent out survey to less than 100 backers yesterday as a smoke test. Around 70% of them were completed within a day. Since we have not heard any questions, we will send it out to the rest backers today. In order for you to understand and complete it fairly quick, here we list an example.
For example, if a backer from Singapore backed for the $169 (TWO PACK) reward, and added an additional set of speakers at $79 with free shipping (our Last Day Promotion), and also added two extra cases at $14. Here are the steps he/she will need to take to complete the survey:
At the front page it shows your pledge level and the total amount you were charged by Kickstarter. If your payment was dropped by Kickstarter due to payment error, the amount shows $0.
Then follow the questions to choose colors for the two sets of GoDuo in your original reward. The "Surprise Me!" option means we pick a random color out of the three for you.

For the $169 level we offered a free case. You can select the color you would like to have here.
You will not be asked any question for the 2.5m charging cable. It will be added automatically in your shipping package.
Then it goes to the “add-on” page. Please note, for the additional set of speakers, it needs to be added here as an add-on item. For different pledge levels, the discounts and shipping costs are different.
And for the two additional cases, they need to be added here too.
On the right of the page, you can see now you’ve used up all your credits.
Please note:
1. since the total amount is charged by Kickstarter and the order is fixed, please make sure you add what you pledged in Kickstarter. Otherwise the survey will not refund you for any credit you have left.
2. In the survey, we set the additional case at $7 just to make two at $14. When buying only 1 extra case the cost should actually be $8. So if you see $1 credit in the end caused by adding a case, please ignore.
3. The limited edition blue color case is add-on only, and we only made 500 pieces. Do not hesitate if you like it.
If you buy extra add-on speakers or accessories, you will exceed your Kickstarter pledge amount and will need to pay the balance. For the backers whose payments were dropped by Kickstarter, you can pay your full amount here.
For $1 pledge level, Backerkit team and us will take care of your pledge manually. Please send message to us if you have any questions.
